Every digital product that undergoes development eventually hits the market, provided
it’s successful. Yupi is no exception. After a dedicated 2.5-year journey of development, the time
was ripe for us to unveil our creation and gauge people’s reactions.
Our strategy was simple yet effective: we joined forces with a historic Sydney hotspot, Redfern,
and collaborated with one of its bars. The concept was straightforward – a ‘free drink’ incentive
for those who confirmed the installation of Yupi and created their profiles. The outcome was
beyond our expectations – random individuals started embracing the platform, establishing their
profiles with enthusiasm. Naturally, this launch wasn’t without its hiccups. We encountered issues
and identified various glitches and gaps within the platform. However, these stumbling blocks
were invaluable in propelling us to elevate the application.
Across three well-executed events, with the inaugural one in January 2023, Yupi
underwent significant transformations. We streamlined its user-friendliness and ensured its ease of
